2016 to present
Started teaching at the Language School of the Campus Saint-Jean of the University of Alberta. Delivering all levels of language training from beginners to advanced learners for French as a Second Language and some English as well.
2016 - 2021
Worked on a few literary edits - main projects include a novel retelling the coming of age of a Canadian diplomat's son living in Zambia, and a the first novel in a series about a budding artist's spiritual awakening and on a backdrop of protecting a First Nation sacred site in Alberta.
Copy edited the original French version and translated Being 2.0 – a book by Razique Mahroua on belonging, biculturalism and transhumanism. (Book is available on Amazon.ca)
2014 - 2015
Worked on two books for same client – one on feminine archetypes and the other was a biographical anthology of women in business
Volunteered as lead translator for the subtitles of Occupy Love – a documentary by Velcrow Ripper and Ian McKenzie on Occupy Wall Street, Arab Spring, and other similar movements of that era
